Sunwater was in need of a replacement crossing on the Plozza Road near Clare in Northern Queensland. The current box culvert was not not keeping up with the tropical rainfall and was clogging up with dirt and trash. The road was flooding after any rain event, causing road closures or dangerous traffic conditions.

Ryan Hokey was awarded the contract to replace the crossing, and got in touch with our team to install the very first designed certified Quick Culvert in the Burdekin.

The installation was quick and efficient. The old box culvert was removed and the new Padman Quick Culvert was installed all within the same day. In fact from start to finish the removal of the old crossing and install of the new only took 6 hours. 

The Padman team were on site to ensure the first install was a success, with the contractor and the council all very happy with the outcome.
